Digital lending in Africa has transformed the banking sector, with mobile money being a big part of this change.

In fact, in 2017, the value of mobile money transactions in Africa was estimated at $13 billion. This is expected to grow to $31 billion by 2021.

Digital lending has allowed banks to offer loans to a wider range of customers, including those who may not have had access to traditional banking products. It has also made it easier for customers to repay loans, as they can do so directly from their mobile money accounts.
